Checklist of birds of South Asia v.11.0

The ‘South Asia Checklist’ is a definitive checklist of the birds of South Asia region, which have been reliably recorded till date from within the political boundaries of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, The Maldives, and the Chagos Archipelago. We follow eBird/Clements as the base for our Checklist taxonomy including its taxonomic sequence and nomenclature. We have also adopted eBird/Clements for the style of English names with respect to hyphenation and capitalization of compound-names and other typological matters.
